Though my being Gay had nothing to do with it, back in the 70's, as today, I knew next to nothing about Sports, particularly Football. Never-the-less, there were a Triumvirate of Football Superstars of that period that one knew of &, if one were Gay, could not help feeling a special admiration & appreciation for !...And, yeah... WANT TO FUCK !... Those three gridiron greats were Terry Bradshaw, Roger Staubach & Mr. Big 12 himself, Joltin' Joe Namath !!

I first met Mr. Van Damme at the 2007 GayVN Awards in SF ! Kathy Griffin was the Host that year ! I'd hoped to meet Arpad Miklos & I did, but the Totally Unexpected High Point of the evening for me was meeting ROBERT VAN DAMME In PERSON !!!There's no better words to describe him. The Man Was & Is a F*cking Dreamboat !! And he could not have been Nicer, Friendlier or more Accomodating to me, too....


So, why, you may wonder, has it taken me nearly 4 years to draw a caricature of him ? Simple ! He is SO Gorgeous that it's taken me all this time to overcome my insecurities & gather the courage to attempt it !!
